How do I install software on a classroom computer?

A listing of the software currently available to UNC Charlotte students, faculty, and staff can be found here.

To install new software, follow the steps below:  

  1. Click the Start button
  2. Type Software Center
  3. As you type, Software Center will be found - click Software Center
    Software Center - App
  4. Select the application you want to install and click the Install button
  5. Follow the steps prompted until installation is complete
  6. If the software you're looking for is not available in Software Center, contact the IT Service Desk
