What happens to my approved tuition waiver when I drop the class?

The answer depends on where you are enrolled.

If you are enrolled at... And you decide to drop the class... Then....
any UNC institution other than UNC Charlotte WITHIN the add/drop period you must cancel the approved tuition waiver in ProcessMaker at UNC Charlotte.
any UNC institution other than UNC Charlotte WITHIN the add/drop period and enroll in a different class you must resubmit a tuition waiver request for the new class.
UNC Charlotte WITHIN the add/drop period your approved tuition waiver will be automatically dropped.
UNC Charlotte AFTER the add/drop period your approved tuition waiver is spent and cannot be reclaimed.

Other UNC System Institutions

UNC Charlotte’s online tuition waiver system in ProcessMaker is NOT connected to other UNC system institutions. It is your responsibility to contact the Student Accounts/Bursar’s Office at the attending university to ensure your account is up to date and the UNC System school in which you are enrolled has received all required documentation.
