How do I take a New Quiz using Respondus LockDown Browser using a Windows device?

 
  1. Click the quiz link
    Quiz link
  2. If Respondus LockDown Browser is not installed on your device, click the Latest Version link 
    Assessment Loading and link to update
  3. The Respondus page is displayed
  4. If you are using a Windows device, click INSTALL NOW
    Click Install Now
    1. Respondus LockDown Browser executable file is downloaded into your Downloads folder
    2. Take note of the Version information in the middle column
      File download view
    3. In the Taskbar, click the up arrow next to the file name
    4. Select Open
      Select Open on the installation file
  5. Enable Respondus LockDown Browser to make changes to your device by clicking Yes
  6. Verify that English is selected and click Next
  7. Respondus prepares your device for downloading the program
  8. Accept the license agreement and click Next
  9. The installer runs. Click Finish when complete - Close the Respondus page
  10. Click the quiz link. The Assessment Loading page is displayed
  11. In the Open LockDown Browser? dialog box, click Open LockDown Browser 
    Click Open LockDown Browser
  12. Enable Respondus LockDown Browser to make changes to your device by clicking Yes
  13. If you have open applications, Respondus LockDown Browser prompts you to close them. You may need to click Close Process several times
