How do I read the Accessibility Checker (UDOIT) results?

After the scan completes, the UDOIT Home screen displays your results:

  1. Course Accessibility Score – An overall percentage score for the course, shown with a color-coded scale from red to green.
  2. Scorecard – A breakdown of issues by High Impact, Medium Impact, and Low Impact categories, each with its own category score. Select the arrow next to a category to expand it and view individual issues.
  3. Content Summary and Course Files Summary – Counts of errors, suggestions, fixed issues, and resolved items across your course content and uploaded files.
  4. Ways to Get Started – Shortcuts to the issues that are easiest to fix and those with the highest impact, to help you prioritize your work.
  5. By issue type / By impact type / By content type – Links to filter and view results grouped in different ways.

These results all fall into one of two categories:

  • Errors: Items that must be corrected for the content to be considered accessible.
  • Suggestions: Items that generally should be corrected for the content to be considered accessible, but may be left as-is under certain conditions.
