Employee Taxable Payment Payroll Processors Manual

This document provides instructions on how to complete processing of Employee Taxable Full and Employee Taxable Partial payments in the TCP_Payroll queue within the TCP Invoices workflow.

System Access Restrictions

The ability to view items and complete actions within Perceptive Content is restricted based on approved system security access.  An FAQ on requesting access updates is available hereQuestions regarding which security group(s) will provide the access needed can be submitted via a Help Ticket.

Notification of Document Pending Review

1.  Email notification will be received by users in the security groups TCP Payroll Processor and TCP Supervisor that a new document was routed to the TCP_Payroll workflow queue.  Updates to users assigned to the TCP Payroll Processor and TCP Supervisor security groups can be requested by submitting an Imaging Add / Remove Access Request.  Guidance on submitting a request is available here.

TCP_Payroll Processing

1.  Open a browser and go to imaging.charlotte.edu.

2.  Click Login and when prompted enter your NinerNET credentials.

3.  Once logged into the application, a screen will display all Experience Content Apps on the main Home page.

4.  Click on the Workflow Content App from the Home screen.

5.  Once in Workflow, select > beside the TCP Invoices workflow listing to view the available queues and then click on the TCP_Payroll workflow queue.

6.  A list of documents will display.

7.  To view a document, click on the line item and the document will display.

Route Back: If a document in the queue does not require Payroll processing it can be routed back to the queue that it came from by clicking the Route Back icon at the top of the screen.

8.  Perform your due diligence and, based on the information provided, process the taxable portion in Banner following the Payroll processing guidelines.

9.  Once the taxable amount is processed in Banner, update the Pay Period and Processed Date TCP CUSTOM PROPERTIES fields.

Note: Pay Period should be the Banner code that corresponds to the period when the item was paid.  Processed Date should be the date that the payment was entered into Banner.

10.  Comments related to the payment can be entered into the Notes field, if appropriate.  

Tip: Add user and date information prior to entering your comment.

11.  Click the Workflow icon at the top of the screen and select TCP Ready to Archive from the dropdown to archive the document.
