How do I turn on or off Transcription for my Zoom phone calls?

  • Live Transcription is available for phone calls.
  • This feature allows you to have live transcription begin automatically at the beginning of your call. This can help provide you with a better understanding of what is being said.
  • Live transcription will display in a sidebar during the call but the transcript is not stored or downloaded.
  • Participants will be notified if the call is being transcribed; If other participants are not comfortable with live transcription, the capability should be turned off

Turn on or off Live Transcription during a call:

  1. From the Zoom Phone keypad, click the More (...) button.
  2. Click Live Transcript: To enable transcription of the conversation.
  3. Click Disable Transcript: To disable transcription of the conversation.
