i. Gather documents for a particular drawer and insert a patchcode sheet between each document set (pages that should be stored together)
ii. Do no put a patchcode on top or on the bottom of the batch
iii. Place the document batch for the drawer in the scanner
iv. Click the Capture icon on the Perceptive Content Toolbar and select the scanning profile option for the desired scanning destination and file type

Single Scan:
Some single scan capture profiles will prompt the user to update Proposed Keys. If Banner linking is used to update keys, then you will need to be logged into the associated Banner screen (Ex: SPAIDEN or PPAIDEN) prior to initiating the scan. The required keys and any optional keys, if appropriate, should be reviewed and updated. The Document Type should always be reviewed and, if appropriate, updated. Click the Capture button to finalize update.
Patchcodes:
If using batch mode, you will need to use patchcodes to separate each batch of documents
NOTE: Steps v. through ix. only apply in limited instances where QA (Quality Assurance) is not automatically bypassed by the Capture profile
v. If the capture option you selected routes your document to Batches for QA (Quality Assurance), then click the Batches icon on the Perceptive Content Toolbar to initiate QA
vi. Select All Batches under the Batches view and then locate and double click your document to open it

vii. Review the document to ensure it is legible
