Calendars that are listed under My calendars can be transferred to other Google accounts.
| NOTE: Before transferring ownership, the user that will be taking on ownership must first have permissions to the calendar. |
- Open Google Calendar on your computer
- On the left, under My calendars
- Hover over the calendar you want to transfer
- Click options (three dots)
- Click Settings and sharing
- Scroll down to the Share with section
- Click Add people and groups
- Enter the email address of the person who the calendar will be transferred to
- In the Permissions dropdown, select "Make changes and manage sharing"
- Click Send
- An email will be sent to the person to accept the share
- Once accepted, return to the Settings and sharing section (step #2)
- Click the dropdown next to the added name, and select "Transfer ownership"
- Confirm by clicking "Transfer ownership" again; the new owner has 60 days to accept.
