What is the imaging system?

  1. The imaging system is a content management software system used to track and store documents, approve tasks, and manage workflows in an electronic format
  2. The imaging system organizes data captured from emails, reports, eForm submissions, and non-image file uploads
  3. Electronic workflows replace paper processes and tend to be much more efficient
  4. The imaging system ensures that all documents are secure, quickly retrievable, and tied to the files and applications you want, with comments and annotations as needed
  5. What access you have to the system will vary depending on what you need to do
  6. In general, "super users" will use the imaging Client/Desktop Application and individuals responsible for electronic processes may have access to the browser Experience
  7. Previous (and current) versions of the imaging system tool have been referred to as ImageNow, C7 and Perceptive Content

Access

Must be on VPN to download Windows client from Software Center or Company Portal for university computers. Once client is installed, can use on campus or when off campus via VPN.

Mac users may purchase VMWare Fusion Pro (if necessary). Please contact the Client Services of OneIT.
