How do I access a Gemini Gem that is shared with me?

Accessing Shared Gems

For assistance logging into to your University Gemini account, please see the How do I access Gemini with Data Protection? knowledge article.

Shared Google Gemini Gems will appear in the 'Shared with me' section of your Gem Manager in Gemini and in the 'Shared with me' section of your Google Drive.

  1. When a Gem is first shared with you, you will be able to click on the link to open it.
  2. You will need to use the Gem in order for it to be saved to your Google Gemini Gems area under 'Shared with me'
    1. Enter a prompt, such as "How can you help me?", "Hello, what is your job?" or any other prompt to establish a first use.
    2. The Gem will now be available in the 'Shared with me' section of your Gem Manager in Google Gemini
