How do I get a physical 49er ID card instead of my mobile ID?

What You Need Before You Start

• An approved photo on file.
• A valid government-issued photo ID (driver's license, passport, or military ID) to present if an exception is approved for pickup.

Steps to Complete the Task

Requesting a Physical Card Exception

• Request in person: Visit the 49er ID Office during business hours to request a physical ID, verify your identity and collect your physical card.
• Pay applicable fees: The first credential is provided free of charge. Card replacements cost $20.

Important Notes or Exceptions

• You cannot have both an active physical card and a digital 49er Mobile ID at the same time.
• Credential Conflict: Activating any new credential will automatically invalidate any previous credential.
