What You Need Before You Start

Your physical 49er Card or mobileID.
-
Keep any failed or poor-quality printouts, as REPROS may require them to verify and process your refund request.
Steps to Complete the Task
Step-by-Step Instructions
-
Resolve Physical Printer Issues On-Site:
-
If the printer is out of paper or has a paper jam, notify the Library front/information desk staff immediately so they can restock or clear it.
-
Do not attempt to clear printer jams yourself, as this can damage the hardware. Try sending your document to another nearby REPROS printer instead.
-
Fix Paper Size Mismatch Issues:
-
If a print job is sent with an incompatible paper size, a red light will flash on the machine.
-
On the printer touchscreen pane, select either to Force print the job manually to a different paper size or Cancel the print job.
-
To avoid this error, ensure your document is formatted using standard US paper sizes before sending:
-
Troubleshoot "0 Print Jobs Pending" Errors:
-
If your document does not appear in the queue, press Refresh on the printer screen interface.
-
Verify that you authenticated the print job using your NinerNet credentials (your university email login) rather than the login details of your personal computer or mobile device.
-
Submit a Refund Request for Failed/Poor Prints:
-
If your print job failed, did not print, or had poor print quality after funds were deducted, you can request a refund. Cash refunds are not permitted; approved balances will be credited back to your 49er Account.
-
Go to the online Printer Refund Portal.
-
Complete and submit the online request form. Please allow up to five (5) business days for processing.
