How do I update Group Policy on my Windows computer?

It is important to connect your university owned computer to VPN on a monthly basis in order to receive the latest Windows computer policies.


To manually receive the latest computer policies, follow these steps. If off-campus, connect to the VPN first.

  1. Click the Search icon

  2. Type CMD and click Run as administrator

  4. Restart your computer
