What is the system Combined Pricing Initiative?

 
  1. On May 5, 2010, UNC General Administration (UNC-GA) announced to UNC Chancellors and CIOs the launch of a new uniform IT purchasing program called the Combined Pricing Initiative (CPI). 
  2. The purpose of the UNC-CPI is:
    1. to save money on IT purchases and support, 
    2. to take advantage of the combined purchasing power of the UNC System
    3. to meet the requirements of North Carolina legislation.
