How do I add a comment in a Google Doc/Sheet/Slide?

 

  1. Open the Doc/Sheet/Slide you wish to make a comment on
  2. Highlight the text you want to comment on and, along the top, click the comment button on the toolbar
  3. Type your comment and click the Comment button to save when you're finished
  4. To review any open or resolved comments, click the Comments option in the top right corner, next to the Share button
