How do I see revision history of a Google Doc/Sheet/Slide?

 

  1. Open the Google document you want to review
  2. Click the File menu at the top and select See revision history
  3. Click through the versions on the right to see changes highlighted
    a. These changes are color coded based on the person who made the change. Multiple colors may appear if
        more than one person made a change
  4. . Initially, a summary of changes will be listed but you can expand this by clicking the Show more detailed
      revisions     button along the bottom
  5. Restore a previous version, select it on the right and click the Restore this reversion option at the bottom
