Where are Google Drive File Stream files stored?

 

  1. Access your files right from your desktop, just like any other local or network drive. 

  2. Your Drive folders, Team Drives, and files appear like other files or folders.

  3. Since all files are stored in the cloud, any changes you or other collaborators make are automatically updated everywhere (except files that you choose to make Available offline); you are always working on the latest version.

    Files that contain Level 2 data should not be made Available offline. See the What level of data can be synced using Drive File Stream?
