How do I sign out of, shut down, or lock a Windows 11 computer?

This guide will show you how to sign out of Windows 11 on a NinerNet PC.

Signing out by clicking your account name:

1. Click on the Start button in the lower-left corner of the screen.

2. Click on your name.

3. Click on the More icon (three dots) in the upper right corner:
   

4. Then choose Sign Out
   

Signing out using the Shut down or Sign out option:

1. Right-click on the Start button in the lower-left corner of the screen.
    
2. Click Shut down or Sign out
   1. Click Sign out to sign your account out while leaving the computer on.
   2. Click Shut down to turn the computer off.
      

Locking your computer while remaining signed in:

1. Click on the Start button in the lower-left corner of the screen.
    
2. Click the Power icon
    
3. Choose Lock
