How do I find the fund hierarchy in Banner Finance to understand what funds are in which organizations?

You can find this information on the Financial Services website as follows:

  1. Open the Excel file on the Chart of Accounts: Fund Hierarchy web page.

Other ways to view fund hierarchy information:

  • If you have access to the "Departmental Financial Reporting" dashboard in Report Central (VPN connection needed), you can view the funds by Org by using the reporting functionality under the "Fund List" tab; OR
  • You can create a query in Banner using the form FTMFUND (Fund Code Maintenance) by COA and enter the L5 organization code in the DEF_ORGN field.
