How do I bookmark the Learning and Development Portal in Google Chrome?

The preferred method of accessing the Learning and Development Portal is to go to my.charlotte.edu and then select the Learning and Development Portal Quick Link. If a bookmark is preferred, it could be problematic. If you choose to add a bookmark to your device's browser and use single sign-on, you will need to use this link http://learningportal.charlotte.edu/ to take you directly to the Welcome page in the Learning and Development Portal. Otherwise, you will most likely be redirected to the Cornerstone on Demand landing page. 

  1. Open a new browser window
  2. Copy and paste this link into your browser http://learningportal.charlotte.edu/
  3. Use your mouse or click on the Enter key on your keyboard to go to the link
    Note: You will be prompted to use single sign-on
  4. Click the star on the right edge of the address bar
  5. A pop-up box will appear where you can customize the bookmark
  6. Click on the word More
  7. Click on the area in the pop-out that says URL
  8. Use the Delete or Backspace key to remove the URL
  9. Replace the URL by copying and pasting this web address into the URL field http://learningportal.charlotte.edu/

     10.  A bookmark will be automatically created
     11.  Click Save to save the new bookmark
