What if I need to use more than one tuition waiver at UNC Charlotte during the summer?

Unfortunately, there is no flexibility on the cap of using only one tuition waiver per summer at UNC Charlotte. The University Policy was approved by the UNC Charlotte Board of Trustees and would require support from the Office of Legal Affairs, Chancellor's Cabinet, Chancellor, and the BoT to approve a policy revision.

However, if you want to take more than one class during the summer, you may explore the following options:

Law Enforcement Officers

Law Enforcement Officers who are eligible for the unlimited tuition waiver benefit and who are employed as part of UNC Charlotte Police and Public Safety Department should reach out to Learning and Organizational Development for assistance using this email address hrtraining@charlotte.edu.
