What is the process for creating a new EHRA Staff Position Description?

There are six stages in the process of creating a new EHRA Staff Position Description as pictured and described below.

Stage Who Does What
1 Hiring Manager or Initiator Follows the procedure for creating a new EHRA Staff Position Description and routes the action to the Budget Office in NinerTalent. (hyperlink to the How do I create a new EHRA Staff Position Description? FAQ above)
2 Budget Office Assigns the new position number and routes the action back to the Initiator.
3 Hiring Manager or Initiator Enters all position information and routes the action to either an additional Initiator (if needed), or to the Approver for review.
4 Approver

Reviews the position, makes any necessary edits, approves the funding information, and:

IF... Then...
Edits are needed Routes the action back to the Initiator
Edits are not needed Routes the action to Human Resources for review

 

5 Human Resources

Reviews the position and sets a salary range.

IF... Then...
Edits are needed Routes the action back to the Initiator or Approver
Position is approved Routes the position to the Budget Office

 

6 Budget Office Activates the position in Banner and serves as the final approver in NinerTalent.
