How do I use the Short URL service for a university website?

To create a random short URL:

  1. Go to https://shorturl.charlotte.edu. Click the Click here to generate a random go.charlotte.edu short URL that redirects to a *.charlotte.edu domain.

        2. Enter the link you want to shorten in the space provided. Click Submit.

        3. Your short URL will be created.

Short URLs are Case Sensitive:
Please be aware short URLs are case sensitive. If you create /casesensitive, /CaseSensitive and /Casesensitive would not automatically apply, for example.
