How do I stop Zoom Phone from ringing on my computer when I do not want to be disturbed?

You can use options such as Do Not Disturb, Ringer Volume, and Hide incoming calls while in a Zoom Meeting to stop Zoom Phone from ringing on your computer when you do not want to be disturbed.

  1. Set up Do Not Disturb
    1. In the top-right corner of the desktop client, click your profile picture and set your availability status:
    2. Change your status to Do Not Disturb: this setting blocks you from receiving pop-up notifications for Zoom Phone calls in the Zoom desktop client.
    3. Choose from pre-set durations, ranging from 20 minutes to 24 hours.
      1. Custom: Choosing custom will open the Settings window, allowing you to set a recurring Do Not Disturb schedule. 
  2. Adjust your Ringer Volume
    1. Go to Settings and then Audio
    2. Scroll down to the Ringtones section
    3. Adjust the slider bar for Ringtone Volume all the way to the left.
    4. Change the dropdown menu for your number to Silent
  3. Hide incoming calls while in a Zoom Meeting
    1. Go to Settings and then Phone
    2. Check the box next to Hide incoming calls while in a Zoom Meeting
