How will the change to @charlotte.edu impact email groups (listservs) I am a member of?

This FAQ is mostly focused on non-University email groups (like Educause).  University Google Groups will not be impacted.

  1. Because @uncc.edu will remain a valid address for your University account, you will continue to receive messages sent to the email group
  2. Your default sending email address will change to @charlotte.edu on May 18th.
  3. Most listservs are limited to "members only" in terms of posting or sending messages to the list - in order to continue to be able to send to listserv, the following would be needed:
    1. EITHER Update the listserv with your @charlotte.edu address (RECOMMENDED) OR
    2. Change the Send As address to your old @uncc.edu address when posting to the listserv
