What do I do if an Exempt employee submits a Time Off or Change Request in Kronos for a prior period and I get an error message when approving?

Receiving an error message means that the timesheet for that pay period has already been approved and no changes can be made while in this state.

  1. Go to Team > My Team > Employee Information.
  2. Locate the desired employee and click the quick links icon.Quick links button
  3. Select All Timesheets.
  4. Click the edit timesheet pencil icon to the far left of the employee's row to view the timesheet. Edit Button
    • Adjust the timesheet dates in the top right corner if needed.
  5. Click the REJECT button in the top right OR select CORRECT located under the 3 dot ellipsis to open the timesheet.
  6. Once the timesheet is re-opened, go to your pending approvals as normal.
  7. Approve the pending request.
  8. Go back to the timesheet by following step 1-3 above.
  9. Approve the timesheet to close it back.
