How do I update my phone to use @charlotte.edu?

  1. The Gmail app should update once the browser is updated
  2. Check to make sure the Gmail app is sending from the @charlotte.edu account
    1. Open Gmail app
    2. Click Compose
    3. Check the From setting
    4. Choose @charlotte.edu if it is not already set
  1. Go to Settings
  2. Go to Mail
  3. Click on Accounts
  4. Click on your @uncc.edu account
  5. Click on Account
  6. Update the Email field with the @charlotte.edu email address
  7. Update the Description
    Note:      Some users needed to alter this field for the change to work - any update to the description will work
  8. Click Done

Most Android phones utilize the Gmail app.  If you are using a different email app (like on a Samsung Galaxy model) and need assistance with configuration, please visit the Walk-up Support desk.
