How can I add an alternative signature for use in DocuSign?

  1. Go to docusign.charlotte.edu.
  2. Enter your NinerNet credentials in the Web Authentication screen that appears and click Log In.
  3. Click your profile icon in the top right corner of the Home screen and select Manage Profile from the dropdown.

  4. On the left side menu click Signatures.

  5. Click the ADD SIGNATURE button in the top right corner.
  6. In the Full Name field enter a unique identifier for this signature.
  7. Click the  CHOOSE, DRAW or UPLOAD tab to add the desired signature.  Follow the on screen prompts.

    Signature Creation Options (Applies to Signature and Initials):

    • CHOOSE - Allows you to select a system generated signature of your name in the font of your choice.
    • DRAW - Allows you to free draw a signature.
    • UPLOAD - Allows you to upload a signature file in format jpg, jpeg, gif, png, or bmp.  Max file size is 200KB.  If you are a delegate for someone and need to add their signature to documents then this option would allow an uploaded signature for that purpose.

  8. Click the CREATE button to save the new signature and initials.
  9. Click the X in the top corner of the browser to close the My Profile window.

Changing Signature Used

When a Sign Here icon is selected, the default signature of the signer is automatically added.  If the signature is clicked, Change can be selected from the dropdown so that an alternative signature can be selected for use instead.
