Confidentiality and Data Security Manual

In order to access Perceptive Content you must be an active employee or sponsored guest who has signed the University Confidentiality Agreement.  Data classified Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 can be stored within Perceptive Content other than where specifically restricted such as credit/debit card cardholder data.

Completing the Required Confidentiality Agreement

1.  Log into MyCharlotte.

2.  If you are not already on it by default, click the Employee tab along the top.

3.  Under the Banner Self Service listing, click Employee Confidentiality Agreement.

4.  Complete the required review/action to finalize the agreement.

You must read and electronically accept the online Employee Confidentiality Agreement for access to Banner INB and Perceptive Content.  See Policy 311 for details.

 

Perceptive Content Data Security

1.  The University Guideline for Data Handling classifies various types of data and the associated security requirements.

2.  Perceptive Content holds some highly restricted Level 3 data and requires tightly controlled access via specific permissions and management authorization.

3.  Level 3 data should not be exported or stored outside of its secured location without express permission of the data or system owner.
