How do I add events using the Campus Events widget?

Events calendaring directly on WordPress sites has been deprecated in favor of using the University-wide Campus Events service. After adding your events to the Campus Events site, follow the steps below to embed the Campus Events widget on your site to display your events.

1. Go to the Campus Events Widget Builder page and set up your widget by selecting the relevant options for your events within the widget filters.
2. Click the "Generate Embed Code" button and copy the "Widget Embed Code" for your event selections.
3. On your WordPress site, edit to the page/post where you want the events to display and add a Custom HTML block in the block editor.
4. Paste your embed code into the Custom HTML block and update the page/post.
