What is Amazon's AWS Academy and who can use it?

INFO: In order to ensure AWS Academy meets your needs and appropriate design considerations are taken into account, please consult with Justin Ashe, Support and Endpoint Solutions Manager, jlashe@charlotte.edu, in the Office of OneIT, prior to signing up for AWS Academy.

  1. AWS Academy provides educators with ready-to-teach cloud computing curriculum that prepares students to pursue industry-recognized certifications and in-demand cloud jobs.
  2. Please contact the IT Service Desk for help with signing up for an account and to earn AWS Academy accreditation and become authorized to teach AWS Academy courses.
  3. See this program guide for more information about requirements for educators.
  4. Once authorized, faculty can create student accounts for access to AWS Academy content.
