How do I run a virus scan on my personal computer with Sophos antivirus?

Sophos is available for personally owned Windows and Mac computers. Tetra is used on University Macs. See this FAQ for installation details.

If you think you have a virus on your computer, you can force Sophos to scan your entire system.

  1. Click on the Sophos icon in the menu bar along the top right
  2. Click Open Scans...
