These individuals and units are eligible for a Zoom phone:

  • Under Policy 601.1, permanent employees are required to have a university phone number.
    • This means permanent faculty and staff can request a Zoom phone.
  • Departments can also request generic phone numbers for the department.

These individuals and units do not meet the requirements for a Zoom phone:

  • Students
  • Student employees
  • Part-time staff 
  • Sponsored guests
  • Emeritus
  • Independent business leasing space from the university
