Computers:
For full time faculty and staff, the standard replacement life cycle is 4 years
Computers older than 4 years are often passed down and made available to student workers, grad students etc.
Once an older computer poses a security risk, it will need to be retired and replaced by the department.
Monitors: 8 years
Docking stations: 4 years
Keyboard and mice: 4 years
Printers: 8 years
