How do I temporarily override signage content with an Appspace Broadcast?

To temporarily override the content on one or more displays in Appspace, the Broadcast feature is used.
The most common use of this feature is overriding a display for a day to show special content for an event.

To set up a single-day, single-display broadcast:

  1. From the side panel menu, select "Broadcasts"
    Broadcasts menu item

  2. Click the "Create" button to start a new broadcast
    Create button

  3. Create the broadcast
    1. Select the "Media" option
NOTE: If you need granular control over how the media plays or is displayed on the screen, you can create a new channel and select the "Channel" option instead. See Article - What are Channels in Appspace? for further details on Channels.
    2. Upload new content or select existing content from the library.

DO NOT select groups or locations as you may unintentionally override devices outside of your building or department.
    5. Click "Apply"
do not select groups, or locations, instead pick devices (UWP)

    6.  Click "Add" to confirm the devices you wish to add.

    • Setting the schedule to "Now" immediately activates the broadcast and requires selecting a time on the same day to end the broadcast.
    • configure schedule
    • Finally, you can select "Schedule" to set a point in the future to begin the broadcast.
The broadcast can be set to end on the same or different day using the "Standard" or "Multi-day" broadcast option.
The "Standard Broadcast" option allows you to select whether to end the broadcast:
