Zoom Meeting: Meeting Summary 

(Multi-Language support available)

Meeting hosts can request Zoom AI Companion to generate a concise summary of the meeting, highlighting the key points, action items, and decisions made. 

Meeting hosts can choose to share the summary with participants after reviewing the notes for accuracy.

The meeting host will need to email the summary to attendees. Zoom Team Chat and the Zoom email integration are not available at UNC Charlotte.

30 days for faculty and staff; 14 days for students
Zoom Meeting: Smart Recording Meeting or webinar hosts can use AI Companion to record their meetings or webinars with smart features, such as automatic transcription, organizing the recording into chapters, key takeaways through recording highlights, identifying action items, speaker identification, and keyword detection. Meeting or webinar hosts can also edit and share recordings with others. 30 days

Zoom Meeting: In-Meeting Questions

(Not supported in breakout rooms)

When enabled by the meeting host, participants can ask AI Companion questions about the content of the meeting based on the transcript, without interrupting the meeting. AI Companion will provide relevant answers or suggestions based on the context of the meeting. For example, participants can ask AI Companion to clarify a term, explain a concept, or provide additional information on a topic discussed in the meeting. In-meeting question data is not stored in the Zoom web portal but may be downloaded, so long as Guidelines for Data Handling are followed. N/A

Zoom Whiteboard: Content Generation

(Only supports English chat)

Meeting hosts can use AI Companion to generate content for whiteboards, such as shapes, diagrams, text, and images. Users can generate ideas, refine and extend existing content, and add objects to a canvas. Users can also collaborate with others on your whiteboards and save them for later reference. 30 days

Zoom Phone: Call Summary

(Only supports English at this time)

Allows Zoom Phone users to initiate an AI-generated call summary. At the end of the call, the summary is automatically accessible through the user’s call history logs in the Zoom app or web portal and can be edited and emailed. 30 days

Zoom Phone: Voicemail Tasks

(Only supports English at this time)

Allows users to access a summarized list of tasks from their voicemail transcription to promptly identify important tasks 30 days

Zoom Phone: Voicemail Prioritization

(Only supported in English at this time)

 

Allows users to prioritize their voicemails. Users can define a topic or intent that the system will use to organize their incoming voicemails in order of priority. N/A

Zoom Services not available at UNC Charlotte:

    • The University uses Google Chat instead

    • The University uses GMail as our email client
