Your access to Windows and Microsoft 365 applications is controlled by the University’s Windows Azure UPN. This means that you need to be logged in with your University account:
- on a University-issued computer in order to have a licensed copy of a Windows operating system.
- in Microsoft 365 applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
After the change:
- You may need to completely log out of your University-issued computer, shut down and restart, and log back in to ensure that your device synchronizes with the domain change.
- You may need to sign out of your username@uncc.edu account in Microsoft 365 applications and then ensure that you are logged in using your @charlotte.edu credentials (username@charlotte.edu) to continue use of any Microsoft 365 application.
