Uploading Receipts in Concur

Overview

The Available Receipts area is a feature within Concur that stores documents to which you can email or upload receipt images. You can use these images to attach to individual expenses within a report.  

Delegates can view someone else’s Available Receipts area if they were granted permission to view receipts when identified as their delegate.

Log into concur.charlotte.edu to begin.

Adding Images to Your Available Receipts Area 

There are three ways to add receipt images to your Available Receipts Area

  1. Upload images directly to your Available Receipts area. 

    1. On the Concur homepage, select Expense from the top menu bar. 

    2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select Upload Receipt Image.

    3. Choose which files you want to upload from your computer.

  2. Email images of receipts or forward emails of receipts (receipts can either be attached to the email or embedded in the email content) to receipts@concur.com.  

Notes:

Email verification: Before sending emails to receipts@concur.com, you must verify your email address. For instructions, refer to Action 3—Verify Email in the Concur Travel and Expense Quick Setup Guide

 Delegates: For a delegate to forward receipts to a user’s expense report, the delegate’s email address must be added and verified in the traveler’s profile.

  1. Use Concur Mobile (available for iOS and Android) to take pictures of receipts. The pictures are then automatically stored in your Available Receipts area. 

    1. Open the Concur app and select Sign In.

    2. Type in UNC Charlotte email and select Next.

    3. Select to Sign In with CLT WebAuth.

    4. Enter your UNC Charlotte credentials and use Duo to authenticate.  

    5. Select the blue photo icon to access the camera and snap a picture of the receipt.   

    6. Once you’ve taken the photo it immediately uploads into your profile both in the app and web browser.  

Deleting Images from Your Available Receipts Area 

If the image is attached to an individual expense, it must first be detached before you can delete it from your Available Receipts area. 

  1. Select your Expense tab on the top menu bar on the homepage. 

  2. Scroll down to see Available Expenses. You can only delete lines that say Pending Card Transaction or Out of Pocket next to them. 

  3. Check the boxes next to the receipts you wish to delete and select Delete

  4. A confirmation message will appear, select Yes to delete.
