How do I access Gemini with Data Protection?

Note: UNC Charlotte access is for the Gemini chat tool only and does not include access to Add-ons or extensions

Anyone with an active NinerNET account can access Gemini directly at http://gemini.google.com through their University Google account.

You can also access Google Gemini through your Google apps menu when logged into any other Google Workspace tool like Gmail. 

  1. ​​​Be sure to sign into Gemini with your Charlotte account to ensure you are accessing the data protection version available through the University.

     
  2. Choose your NinerNet account.

     
  3. Continue with your NinerNet login.

     
  4. A shield icon will appear in the prompt field when you are logged in with your Charlotte account to show you are in the Gemini with Data Protection.
