Using Copilot to generate images is called boosts.
Under our licensing, each user is given 15 boosts a day.
Once depleted, the user must wait 24 hours before their limit is reset.
Generating images uses a lot of AI processing power therefore, Microsoft created boosts to limit usage.
There is a Copilot pro plan that would increase boost limits to 100 a day. However, to date, it is not available to our campus community, but it will likely be at some point in the future.
