How do I move files between my personal Dropbox and the University Dropbox account?

If you've been using a personal Dropbox account to store University related data, you have a few options for moving the data.  Be sure to adhere to the data handling guidelines.

  1. Log into your personal Dropbox account
  2. Share all relevant files/folders with your University Dropbox account
  3. Make your University Dropbox account the owner of files/folders
  4. Log into your University Dropbox account
  5. Remove any permissions your personal Dropbox account has to these files/folders

  2. Link your personal and University Dropbox accounts
  3. Move the files according to best practice
