How do I access Coursera through the career center as Faculty/Staff?

Coursera is a leading online learning platform that partners with top universities and companies worldwide to offer courses, specializations, and professional certificates. The School of Professional Studies, The Career Center, and the College of Computing & Informatics have partnered together to provide our students, faculty, and staff with free access to industry-recognized Professional Certificates. This partnership enhances our educational offerings and helps prepare you for the evolving job market.

  1. Navigate to the Career Center's Coursera Career Academy page

  2.  Scroll down to click on Faculty/Staff Pathway

  3. Click the Join button toward the upper right-hand corner

  4. Click Log in with University of North Carolina Charlotte

  5. You will be taken to the Web Authentication page. Use your NinerNET login credentials then press the Log In buttonUploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  6. If you are a new user, you should see the Start your program screen. 
    1. If you are a new user, select I'm a new Coursera User
    2. If you have an existing Coursera account, select I'm an existing Coursera user

  7. Click Continue
  8. You will need to click I accept to continue

  10.  Click Join Program
