How do I create a private filter?

  1. Login to your Perceptive Content with your NinerNet credentials
  2. Select the Documents tab from the Perceptive Content Toolbar that will display, as shown below:

  3. Select the View you would like to create the filter on

  4. Select the Search tab

  5. Click the Add button Add icon to enter the conditional search criteria
  6. The Condition Criteria dialog box will display, as shown below:

  7. Enter the condition criteria
    1. Select the appropriate option from the Constraint by dropdown menu

    2. Select the appropriate option from the Type dropdown menu

    3. Select the appropriate option from the Field dropdown menu

    4. Select the appropriate option from the Operator dropdown menu

    5. Enter the appropriate Message in the text box

      The last condition varies based off the previous selection criteria.  The Message option sometimes displays as a Value option; it also may be a dropdown menu instead of a manual textbox entry. 

  8. Click the OK button
  9. Click the Save Filter button Save Filter button and the Save Filter dialog box will display, as shown below:

  10. Enter the Name for the filter and click the OK button

  11. Test the new filter
    1. Click on the new filter option from the View menu

      If you do not see the filter, log off Perceptive Content and log in again

    2. Click the Go button Go button to execute the new filter

    3. Enter the name or other prompt criteria, if appropriate, and click the OK button

    4. Double click on the appropriate line item to open it

    5. Click the Close icon Close icon then the Exit from the Connect menu on the Perceptive Content toolbar to exit the application

Private filters Private filters are only accessible by the user that creates them.

public filters Only an OneIT administrator can create public filters, which are accessible to everyone. To request a private filter be made public, please submit a Help Desk ticket.
