How do I delete a secondary calendar (a "My calendar")?

IMPORTANT:  Deleted calendars are gone permanently and CANNOT be restored.  Please review the calendar thoroughly before deleting - once it is gone, it is gone!
  1. On a computer, open your Google Calendar
  2. Click the Settings Menu (gear icon) in the top right and click Settings
  3. In the left-hand column, in the Settings for my calendars section, click the name of the calendar you want to delete
  4. Scroll to the bottom and click Delete - confirm the action
