How do I reconnect my Microsoft 365 desktop application to my account when an app such as Word says there is an Account Error?

If you see a warning message about an Account Error in an Microsoft 356 desktop application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), you will need to sign in again through the application.
From the
File
menu, select
Account
to view the Account Error:
Click the
Fix me
button.
Follow the prompts to log in to your account and Duo 2-step authorization.
