How do I patch/apply software updates to my University computer?

NOTE: If you are performing these steps at home connect to VPN.

macOS Windows
  1. Open the App Store app App Store Logo
  2. Select Updates in the toolbar
  3. If updates are available, select the Update buttons to download and install them.
  1. Click the Start button
  2. Type Software Center
  3. As you type, Software Center will be found - click Software Center
  4. Click Updates on the left
  5. Click Install All
    1. If prompted to update your Microsoft 365 client click Install
  6. Once the updates complete restart your computer to finish applying updates.
