How do I "forget" a wireless network on my device?

If you are having trouble connecting to wireless, try "forgetting" the network:

  1. Click on the wireless icon in the system tray
  2. Click on Network & Internet settings
  3. Click on Wi-Fi on the left hand side of the window
  4. Click Manage known networks in the middle of the page
  5. Click on eduroam and then click Forget

  1. Click on the wireless / internet access icon in the system tray

  3. Click Network & internet from the list on the left

  5. Click Manage known networks

  6. For eduroam, click Forget

  1. Click on the wireless icon in the menu bar
  2. Click Open Network Preferences...
  3. In the Network Preferences window, make sure Wi-Fi is selected on the left,
    and then click the Advanced... button
  4. On the Wi-Fi tab, select the eduroam network and click the - button
  5. Click OK and then on the next window, click Apply

  1. Go to the Settings app
  2. Select the Wi-Fi section
  3. Select the (i) information icon beside eduroam
  4. Select Forget This Network at the top of the page
  5. Select Forget to confirm

Android 8.0 was used for these steps. Your experience may vary based on your device manufacturer.

  1. Go to the Settings app
  2. Go to the Network & Internet section
  3. Select Wi-Fi
  4. Select Saved networks
  5. Select eduroam
  6. Select Forget
