How do I access my H/S/J drives on my university Windows computer?

Effective February 2025, H: drives will no longer be provisioned for new staff and faculty. New staff and faculty have access to Google Drive for cloud-based storage.

NOTE:  The network drives require the eduroam or ethernet connection when on campus. If you are off campus using a University computer, the H/S/J drives will not connect until authenticated through Cisco VPN - see this article for more information.

  1. Open the File Explorer application. The icon is located at the bottom-left of your computer screen:
  2. Double-click which Drive you want to access. They are located on the left side of the screen, in the list of file locations. In this example, the H Drive is being selected.

  3. Click the file folder you want (e.g. Desktop, My Documents, My Pictures, etc.):

  4. Select the file you want.
