What is Duo and what is it used for at UNC Charlotte?

 
  1. Duo provides a second layer of security for your NinerNET account when you access University and personal information.
  2. Two factor authentication requires something you know (your NinerNET password) and something you have (e.g. a phone/tablet).
  3. Duo authentication, as part of single sign on, is used on most university systems
