How can I share attachments with guests of a Google Calendar event?

You can add documents, spreadsheets, and other files directly to an event so that your guests have all the information they need right from the event.

  1. Log into your Google Calendar account
  2. Create the meeting invite
  3. Click Add attachment

  4. Choose the file from your Google drive, click Select
    choose the file from Google Drive, click select
  5. Add any guests, click Save to send the meeting invitation
  6. If you have not previously shared the file with the meeting guests a prompt will be displayed to allow you to setup the share permissions 
  7. Click More options to view all the permission settings

           a.  Anyone with the link: Can View, Can Edit or Can Comment
                i.  This option does not require a Google Account
               ii.  This is the least secure way of sharing a file
                               anyone with the link is the least secure way of sharing a file

           b.  Guests of this event: Can View, Can Edit or Can Comment
                 i.  This option does require a Google Account
                ii.  Only guests can access the file, which is more secure
                              only guests can view, can edit or can comment is the most secure way to share a file

                                                                                                                 

      8.  Click Share and save to grant share permissions to the meeting guests and send the meeting invite
